Murderbot on Apple tv! May 16th

I hope my friend watches it and invites me round! It has Alexander Skarsgad in it! (wrong spelling I know!).

I'm really looking forward to it! The trailer was very promising as it looks like it’s a good adaptation, and Martha Wells has been involved. Loved the clip of Sanctuary Moon in the trailer as well 😀

I'm cautiously looking forward to it, often I'm very disappointed when a book that I like is filmed but I hope that I won't be disappointed. There have been a couple of very good adaptations recently like Altered Carbon and The Expanse, so hopefully this will also be good.

I won't be watching, but just out of morbid curiosity: Is it a movie or a series?

It’s a series. Sounds like it’s an adaptation of the first book (All Systems Red).

1 day to go! I'm very much looking forward to this, signed up for a free trial of Apple TV+ especially for it.

Just watched the first two episodes, and so far so good. I really like all the casting except for Alexander Skarsgard, I might get used to him though. In my mind when I read the books I pictured the Murderbot as more barrel shaped, darker and bland rather than handsome.

I really enjoyed it! Thought the characters were all well-done, and that Alexander Skarsgard’s did a good job with the sarcasm/ awkwardness of Murderbot.
