Authors like Bob Mortimer?

I’ve just finished the Avocado Hotel and the Satsuma complex and really loved them! Excited to see he has a new book coming out in the autumn. Until then, can anyone recommend something similar (though I suspect he might be inimitable!)?

Oh I’ve read List of Suspicious Things and Elinor Oliphant! Enjoyed them greatly 😊 edit - and the Appeal! But I see JH has a new one so will give that a go!

Read his autobiography…and Away! Or even better the audiobook, it’s marvellous 😊🥰

@CalmConfidenti don’t usually like auto/biographies, but i do love him so it’s probably a good shout!

Listen to the audible verdion of his books - it makes them even better. Hotel Avocado is read by him, with Paul Whitehouse and Sally Phillips and Julie Maysey. So good !
