Anyone reading her new one? I'm listening to it as an audiobook. Enjoying it so far-but I do miss Ruth!

Am currently reading it. I am not sure yet if I like it. I really enjoyed both the Ruth ones and the Brighton series.

I really like both the Harbinder Kaur and Ruth Galloway books, I'm only about halfway through the RG series.

However, I just don't get the Brighton ones at all, I have to admit.

I've recently finished all the Ruth Galloway books and not sure where to go next

Just finished it. I love her writing and characters and they were great in this too. Not convinced she’s 100% cracked the plotting of these quite yet but will read the next the minute it is available.

J D Kirk DCI Logan series. There are 20 of them (21st due soon) and his team of detectives are a motley crew who develop through the series. In places the books make laugh out loud. They investigate murders in and around Inverness.

I did enjoy the Brighton books in a low key way, although the Ruth Galloway books were better by far. I read the first few Harbinder Kaur books but I thought Bleeding Heart Yard was pretty poor and didn't finish it. Sorry to have stopped reading Elly Griffiths, they were always a hardback autobuy for me.

I’m currently glued to the M W Craven Washington Poe books which are really quite amusing and set somewhere around the lakes.

I’ve been reading Ellie griffiths for years and they can be hit and miss ought I do like the Ruth Galloway books!

I am honoured to be so missed.

As well as my own stories, I enjoyed the Callanach series by Helen Fields, though the writing is much more graphic.

The LJ Ross Ryan stories are what I am working through now and they are possibly more similar - the pairing is a historian and detective, even...
