I’m really hoping someone may be able to
help me. I know this book exists but I have never been able to find it.
I read it in the 90s but it may be a lot older. It’s for teenagers, it’s about group of
children who play a dare type game. They have to steal items from people and then return them without getting caught. Points were given for how tricky it was to hide the item. It’s ends with one group hiding a dog and it ends up getting run over. The teenagers all feel bad apart from the one who suggested the game. I think it may be called finders keepers loser or something. Def American.
Would love to find it and read it again as an adult.
Any ideas? Does this ring any bells with anyone of you?
