Hi all!

I'm currently on the 4th in the Marlow murder Club series. I absolutely love them!

Please can anyone recommend any other cosy crime books that might be similar by various authors?

Thanks!!! Xx

Have you read the Thursday Murder Club series by Richard Osman? If not, then you may like them and his new novel We Solve Murders.

If you have, then you might like A Spoonful of Murder by J M Hall, which is the first in a series of, so far, three "cosy crime" series.

Have you read the Death in Paradise novels by Robert Thorogood? I enjoyed them.
I like the Midsomer Murder books as well by Caroline Graham.

Anthony Horowitz writes excellent detective books.

He does. I like both his current series, but my favourite is the Hawthorne/Horowitz where he writes himself in as a character. They're clever.

Try Ian Moore’s Follet Valley series (starts with Death and Croissants).

I much prefer the Death in Paradise books to the Marlow ones

Have you read the Three Dahlias series by Katy Watson? It is brilliant. I think there a four out at the moment with another due later this year.

Me too!
I enjoyed the first Marlow book but not the second so much, I can't remember if I finished it.
The women interfering with the investigation and messing with evidence was just too far fetched for me on the second one.

Murder Most Haunted. My book club loved it. Cosy and funny with a bit of darkness and emotion.

Hattie Brings the House Down and Hattie Steals the Show by Patrick Gleeson..Main character is a stage manager. I learned some interesting things about working in theatre..

EV Hunter, Hopgood Hall mysteries are really good. The first one is called A date to die for. I really enjoyed them all & am waiting for the 7th book to come out next year.
