I need to read more! 2 kids later and I'm finally getting some time back.

So I'm going to aim for 25 books in 2025 but would like recommendations. Nothing too heavy going as my brain is a bit mushy!

I won't say what books I like as would like to try things I might not otherwise try.

I have audible too so audiobook recommendations welcome too.

Audible :

None Of This Is True by Lisa Jewell
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
Tom Lake by Ann Patchett

Thanks for the recommendations. I've actually listened to the first 2 suggestions and enjoyed them so I'll trust your recommendation for Tom Lake and add it to my list.

I loved the Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch and narrated by Kobna Holdbrook Smith.

I'm not a massive sci fi fan, but really enjoyed these.

@SpinningTops

It's narrated by Meryl Streep

I will add :

The Bee Sting by Paul Murray
Sometimes People Die by Simon Stephenson

Both good audios

And Riders and Rivals by Jilly Cooper were good audiobooks despite some outdated content glamourising reprehensible behaviour.

In a thousand different ways by Celia Ahern
The frequency of us by Keith Stuart
Me before you by Jo Jo Moyes
A Haunting in the Arctic by CJ Cooke

Some of my favourites I have read this year

Haunting in the Arctic....actually can be somewhat traumatic though
