I have 1 credit with my free trial. Any recommendations for a great audiobook? Thanks!

What sort of books do you like?

Top tip: listen to the preview to check you like the narrator's voice and style

Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent.

The bee sting by Paul Murray. I was blown away by this, having never read any Paul Murray, never really listened to audio books and never read much of anything by men generally.

Great story, read really well, and because it is in characters chapters, there are natural break points (I find audible a different beast to reading with natural break points for some reason).

I also laughed out loud a few times whilst listening, which surprised me.

Highly, highly recommend.

Ann Patchett gets big names to narrate. So Tom lake was meryl steep and I can't remember who the ditch house was, Tom hanks maybe?

The narrator really matters I'm finding.

I love my audible subscription and can't believe I didn't have it way earlier. Enjoy!

Good point, I should have mentioned what I like! Sorry, just fired it off when I had a spare minute! I will check out these recommendations. And good tip to listen to a sample. I have pretty eclectic tastes so am open to suggestions. I listen to a lot of podcasts and am looking for an interesting alternative. Thanks all.

None of This is True by Lisa Jewell is really good. It's a podcast style book. I read the book but apparently the audio version is fantastic.

Was just going to recommend this book. It's mainly read by Nicola Walker who is one of my favourite actors. The audiobook with a mix of different podcasts/interviews was brilliant!
