Just that really, looking for other books a Stephen King fan might enjoy. Newish releases preferably.

I'm a big Stephen King fan and I really like Katriona Ward's books - The Last House on Needless Street is particularly good and very Stephen King like in it's characterisation and scene setting. Alternatively you could try Joe Hill who is SKs son and writes in a very similar vein.

Peter Straub? Not really newish, as he was a contemporary of Kings. Co-wrote some books with King.

I really enjoyed HEX by Thomas Olde Heuvelt. Not a new release though sorry.

Jeffrey Deaver?

Grady Hendrix. Different, but also has that sort of prosaic 'these normal life things are happening but Whoa what's that weird /terrifying thing?' vibe. How to Sell a Haunted House is good.

Joe Hill - SK'S son. Heart shaped box is a properly scary ghost story

I know you said you’d prefer modern stuff, but how about M. R James? He’s great. I’d also recommend Mark Gatiss’ superb documentary on him.

Anything by Ronald Malfi. Very King like.
