Returning a Kindle book

I haven't returned one in ages and I want to return one now but I'm really struggling. Can someone tell me what to do please, the simpler the better

I haven't done it for ages. I think you go onto Amazon, my orders, and select it from there. I've always done it from my computer rather than through the kindle. There's probably a much simpler way to do it.

Go onto your Amazon account, select my devices, click on kindle, scroll to the book concerned and remove from device.

Go on the app, click down on the book and scroll down to return to kindle unlimited.

I have a feeling there is a time limit on returns, especially if you have started reading the book.
