It's fucking terrible. Happy to help. I've known and worked with many many abused and disabled people in my life and I have NEVER met one who was such a professional victim. Or so self indulgent and just bloody irritating. Good riddance to Jude and all his unlikely, enmeshed and enabling 'friends'
My most hated book of all time.

Omg I felt that too. Hated it. Slogged on about 3/4 of the way through then googled the ending. THANK GOD, I didn’t persevere.

This is probably my most hated book EVER. Imagine having a friend you had to phone EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Every. Single. Day!

I felt really angry on the behalf of the first girlfriend, I bet she had her suspicions and she was right!!
