ah i do like a huge baby boy

ds2 is 8mo and 11 kilos

ggglmpp · 16/04/2008 09:32

He is not so much chubby as just incredibly long - coming up to 7 kilos but in clothes for a year old as nothing fits. Am short arse and dh typical shortarse frenchman, so he must be a throwback from somewhere.

But have you read Magdelen Nabb?!

Hi, gggl - I've read the Josie Smith books, does that count? (Suspect you are talking about the crim ones though)

Josie Smith is fab anyway

elkiedee · 19/04/2008 23:12

I read the first of the crime novels - was it Death of an Englishman - but wasn't that taken with it, though I have a couple of others and would probably try again.

I think she died about a year ago, relatively young (mid 60s?)

Have you read any other crime novels set in Italy? It seems to be quite a popular setting for authors of crime fiction writing in English as their first languagage (Nabb, the late Michael Dibdin were English, Donna Leon is American).
