What other books do you love?

I adore the early Sophie Hannah books, the untold backstory and the amazing characterisation.

I have read all of them bar the recent piorot novels which I do not love.

Can you recommend any other authors ?

I also love joy Ellis, val McDermott and Margaret Atwood

Have you read Elly Griffiths's Ruth Galloway series? The first one is The Crossing Places. I really liked them and the way the characters evolve and time moves on across the books (as opposed to some series where everything seems to stay the same). RG is a forensic archaeologist in north Norfolk, called in by the police about any random bone they find.
