There are masses of Jojo Moyes on Amazon so I’m not sure what you mean about not being able to get one on your kindle? She is Jojo rather than Jo Jo - try that and hopefully they will all come up for you. Obviously her most famous is Me Before You and that has a couple of sequels, but the Ship of Brides is very good, there’s a really interesting First World War One, and lots of others to try. She is good, easy reading.

All of her books are available on Amazon for Kindle, what's the problem you're having with getting one?

If it’s Apple, you have to go to Amazon via Safari, not Google, to buy a Kindle book. I do, anyway!

Silver Bay is my favourite of hers but I also loved The Giver of Stars. Both really well written and thoughtful. I thought Me Before You was awful, really mawkish and obvious.

‘Someone Else’s shoes’ which she released last year, and ‘Giver of Stars’ (very different subject matter, location, and timeframe but equally brilliant!

Hard to choose a favourite. I was going to say The Girl You Left Behind but then a PP reminded me of the Ship Of Brides.

If you're buying on your phone the app doesn't let you buy kindle books but the browser does.

The ship of brides is definitely her best!

The Giver Of Stars is my favourite.

The Giver Of Stars is my favourite.

What a book........I couldn't put it down.
Who'd of thought that a book about packhorse librarians in rural Kentucky would be so readable and heartwarming.

shellyleppard · 27/07/2024 23:14

@LizzieSiddal completely agree..... I can read this over and over ❤️ i loved the girl you left behind too, she's a fantastic writer

Another vote for the giver of stars. On the surface not the most obvious context for a book but I absolutely loved it. She's a v versatile writer.
