anyone read it? coming from a farming background, and having been through many of the same issues as the family involved, i thought it was an incredibly poignant book. the writer's got such a way of describing things beautifully.

I haven't read it and don't know anything about it. Is it the kind of thing that would make a good gift for DF (retired farmer)?
