Can someone help me find this book?

Hi,
About 15 years ago I read an autobiography written by siblings - a boy and girl. Their mother was a teacher and in an abusive relationship. Sadly, their mother was murdered by their father.
They ended up in foster care and found out that their mother had Huntingdon’s disease and the daughter tested positive for this gene too 😭
They both went to university but I can’t stop thinking about what happened to them later on in life. Can’t find the book anywhere though. Any help much appreciated!

I am sure the book you are looking for is called ''The kids are all right: a memoir'' written by Diana Welch and her siblings Liz, Amanda and Dan.
