Are ebooks normally discounted on Amazon prime day?

Have my eye on a couple of new books, but not sure if I should just wait til next week if they're likely to be heavily reduced.

I know the devices themselves are likely to be discounted, but can't remember from previous years if they tend to also discount new release kindle books etc.

Some are. Unless you need it right now I would wait and see tbh. Often paper books are reduced more on prime days, so keep your options open. I tend to find it’s the devices and tablets that are where the discounts lie though. Won’t stop me looking…
