Has anyone read this? Any good? I read The Couple Next Door and loved it so thought I would try another book from Shari Lapena. I’m also thinking of buying ‘Someone we know’ which also has good ratings. I don’t read much due to a busy lifestyle but love it when I find a good book that I can get into.

I've read it OP. I enjoyed the writing but it was definitely a disappointing plot. I wouldn't want to give any spoilers but it was not a book I would recommend despite getting to the end (I think the authors writing style was very gripping, but the plot/twist did not deliver)

I would recommend the following:-

Clare Mackintosh "I let you go"
Elizabeth Haynes "into the darkest corner"
B A Paris "the Breakdown" "the Therapist" and "Behind closed doors"

All great writing AND great twists

I haven't read "someone we know" so can't comment on that one x

I really enjoy Shari Lapena's writing style. I have read a few, I don't remember all the plots, but the ones I have rated most highly on my list are: 'Someone we know', 'Not a happy family' and 'An unwanted guest'.
