Can anyone help me rediscover a children’s book I read over and over in approximately 1990?
It was a medium sized book with a brown cover. It contained various slightly spooky stories. One of them was about a mean old magician (?) called the Undying, who was freed from a trap he was stuck in by being given multiple glasses of water from a magic well, and a final one poured over his head. I remember the line ‘bring me a cup of water’
