Yes I thought it was excellent. But extremely dark and brutal. The sir twist was a shocker!

Just finished this - incredible book.

Who was sir? And Rafe for that matter - friends with Tony Blair and Gordon Brown…

I’ve not read it but he was on Desert Island Discs recently, worth a listen!

Rafe was Robbie’s dad and as he was a Lord I presumed he knew Blair etc through parliament. I loved that Evan went to his football club just to get close to Robbie, taking back control. Although getting signed like that was a nonsense.
In my head I had sir as the royal friend of Epstein. Clearly a royal anyway, I just couldn’t see the king in that role!
It was a horrible subject but I really love this series. The end was good, I was glad Evan tried to make amends.
Fire is out next year I think, it centres on Freya. Can’t wait!
