Just picked up a copy of The Mists of Avalaon and it was like being 21 again. All my friends and I read it at university. Had a quick look and was dismayed to realise what tosh it was.

The Mysteries of Pittsburgh - we all read this in last year at school, even the head girl although she wouldn't tell us what she thought if it as it had a fair bit of sex in it.

Jean Plaidy books and Agatha Christies - read loads of them from library one summer when I was a teenager.

Those Liz thingy ones, Easy Freedom/ Easy Connections being 13 and desperate to meet famous people...
