I've just -finally- finished The Golden Notebook. Has taken me literally months to get round to finishing as I bought it in November when Doris Lessing won the Nobel Prize for Literature... says something about how gripping (or not) I actually found it!
Just wondering what anyone else thought of it? I can see why it's a classic because it broke the mould at the time - both in form and content - but... would you reread it for fun?
I got rather bored by the maniacal section at the end with Saul tbh!
