Has anyone picked this up - would be really interested in what others thought. It was a kindle.unlimited and I've enjoyed several of her books before. I hadn't realised there was a sequel so that's on me.
It started off so well but felt like it lost it's way somewhere in the middle and the characters just weren't rounded. I couldn't find sympathy for anyone (except the children). I don't know whether to bother with the sequel!
