(about Greeks living in Roman Egypt).

Actually I may get that one for DS1 who is obsessed with classical civilisation atm.

No, a proper legit history book: excerpt from LRB review But DS1 has quite grown-up taste when it comes to 'non-fiction'!

that's the kind of stuff dh likes..his degree is in Ancient Hist...we once went to see The Trackers of Oxyrhynchos at the NT -was full of satyrs
