Wow that crime writing festival looks great, little chance of dragging Dh to it though

Re the Kellermans, their son has also had a couple of books published, complete tosh imho!

Orinoco, enjoy the KR!

I love Jack Reacher! I have a shameless crush on him and am delighted to hear about the commando pantless thing.

Oh dear, I think I might need a lie down, too.

You lot might like this.

I went to SEE Lee Child on Weds; have been ridiculously excited ever since. He was fab - the kind of person you would love to have at a dinner party for good chat. Very conversational and entertaining. Great evening out and learned lots about his theory of writing etc.

rosmerta · 05/04/2008 22:32

am very hannah, where did you see him?

Sidge · 05/04/2008 23:00

I am too.

I would love to meet him.

Do you think MN would get him to do a webchat?

[jealous]Agree with rosmerta re Jesse Kellerman, read the first, but the second was rubbish.

rosmerta · 06/04/2008 12:36

Was the second one Trouble? That's the one I read, definitely trying too hard!

cocolepew · 06/04/2008 13:53

I can remember the name of it. I lost the will to live 2 chapters in .

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 06/04/2008 14:25

Ok I've finally finished this now and really disappointed, think it's run out of steam (bit like Janet E). Really had to force myself to keep reading, yawn.

Read the new Mo Hayder before that though, think it's called Ritual (also under a tenner at Asda or Tescos) and it was excellent, unputdownable - mildly annoying end though.
