Would love some ideas.

I've just listened to Lessons in Chemistry and Where the Crawdads sing after recommendations on here.

I enjoyed both.

I dislike suspense/thrillers

Thanks

Ive just finished listening to 'Alan Partridge from the Oasthouse' which is free on audible. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. I would recommend if you want something a bit different.

Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. It is brilliant as an audiobook and there is a genuine gasp out loud moment that I didn't not see coming at all.

Also, The Paying Guests by Sarah Waters is excellent. As is 11/22/63 by Stephen King (not a horror novel).

Thank you both. I have just started tomorrow, tomorrow tomorrow but have downloaded fingersmith so will try that next.

I do want something different, and I would never have thought to listen to Alan Partridge will give it a go.

A bit left-field but I'm listening to Bleak House read by Miriam Margolyes and thoroughly enjoying it. I haven't read any Dickens and although this is an epic 43 hours it's very good.
