Authors like Lesley pearse

Hi all, I've got some credits to use up on audible and I really enjoy Lesley pearse but I've read them all, her latest ones have not been her best so if anyone can recommend authors that are close to her old style so books about past eras rather than modern iyswim? That would be much appreciated. Thank you.

A lot of the earlier Josephine Cox books might suit you, I don't think the more recent ones are as good though.

I haven't read any personally but when I worked in a library a lot of ladies who liked Lesley Pearse also liked Maeve Binchy too.

Will be hard to equal Lesley Pearse though!

Susan Lewis is similar.

I agree the early Lesley pearse books are hard to beat but her last few books have missed the mark for me. Thank you for the suggestion I'll give her a go.
