Ecomomics for dummies?

Can anyone recommend a good introductory book on economics for the non-expert? Something not too dry.

I'd like to understand a bit more about how interest rates and inflation work, how currencies are calculate etc.

If anyone could lend me one in return for a big bar of choccie that would be even better!
