I re-read books because I can’t find new books that I like. I’m currently reading a Xmas book that was recommended on a thread, but I don’t like it, it’s modern and what I call chick lit.
I do like Rosamunde Pilcher, Maeve Binchy and Helen Forrester. I don’t like Danielle Steel and Dilly Court.
Who else would I like?

See I wouldn’t call them chick lit- I’d call eg Trisha Ashley, Phillips Ashley, Jenny Colgan, Jaimie Admans Ellen Berry .. that kind of thing chick lit! (All recommendations btw!!)
