If I liked Crawdads and Room what books should I buy please?
Loved the Rosie effect and a man called Ove
I like a good thriller too so if anyone has a brilliant thriller for me to read I'd be eternally grateful.
Thanks

Very different in period to the books you mention, but I just read 'The Woman in White' and it was absolutely thrilling. Full of suspense and mystery, if you like a good thriller and get on well enough with 19th-century gothic kind of things (not actually my usual cup of tea, but I loved it).

I loved all those books so we probably have similar taste OP - although I'm not that keen on thrillers. Other books wot I have loved this year:

All the Light We Cannot See - Anthony Doer
The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood (didn't think I would like this at all)
The Sealwoman's Gift - Sally Magnusson

Others I enjoyed this year and last:

Utopia Avenue - David Mitchell
Lessons in Chemistry - Bonnie Garmus
The Reading Lisa - Sara Nisha Adams
Any Human Heart - Human Boyd
The Trouble with Sheep and Goats - Joanna Cannon
Three Things About Elsie - " "
Still Life - Sarah Winman
The Girl with the Louding Voice - Abi Dare
The Beekeeper of Aleppo - Christie Lefteri

The only thriller I have read recently (and enjoyed):

Murder in the Fast Lane - Natasha Orme

Thank you@MrsW9 I've read the woman in white and yeah it was brilliant. Might reread it though as had forgotten about it. Also good for a Christmas present

Ooo what a lovely list @Mothership4two - I'm off to spend my book tokens. Thank you! I don't know why but buying a new book fills me with decadent glee - I normally borrow or share among friends.

Anything by Colleen Hoover or Taylor Jenkins Reid. Recently discovered them both and working my way through their back catalogues.

Thanks @Floofydawg I'll take a look

If you liked a Man Called Ove hace you read any of his other novels?

I'd try My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry.
