Have just finished this book - it is trully, utterly fabulous. Anyone else read it?

Such a good book - all of Geraldine McCaughrean's books are good, and all of them are very different. Her re-telling of the classics are an excellent introduction. I read Pilgrim's Progress that way and I don't think I could ever manage the real thing

I read the one set in Afghanistan about two boys - that was fantastic, I couldn't put it down.

Is that the one that you mean, winterwarmmummer?

i bought it but haven't had time to read it yet - am looking forward to it now!

Am reading now. Really enjoying it. Sadly my real life keeps interrupting. Good to hear your opinion. Will keep having long baths and finish it.
