Gwyneth Jones 'BOld As Love' anyone read this or its sequels?

I have just read the first one. And I can't make up my mind what I think.

I know exactly what you mean, I read the first one a few years ago but in a sort of car crash way, in that I wanted to know what happened but didn't really care, if that makes sense.

I liked her writing but thought her ethics were a bit dodgy.

Sadly, I think it could have been a really excelent book, if it had been more tightly drawn together. However,given her characters' attitude to sex, drugs and R&R, maybe that was not possible!
