Audio book subscription recommendations

I currently listen via BorrowBox
It's supplied by the library so there is no charge.

I'm willing to pay a subscription service as I'm about to do a lot more driving for work.

In BorrowBox you have unlimited number of titles/ month
You can only have 6 at a time including reserves but that's fine.

I don't like the sound of audible because you essentially buy and keep them but only a couple/ month.

Last month I listened to 4 audiobooks, I don't really want to keep them after listening.

Is there a subscription service out there with a large catalogue but not limited to quantity/month?

Or am I misunderstanding audible?

Does anyone enjoy audible? Do you only get two a month to listen to?

I like audible but it is the more expensive option.

There are some free titles included but they are limited.

They often have 2 for 1 offers, sales and there is the deal of the day, which means you can get books for about 3 quid.

I also have kindle unlimited and often borrow the kindle version which means I can get the audio version for a few quid as well.

I know borrowbox is cheaper but I found their selection limited, same with bookbeat. I prefer the flexibility and selection on audible.

What's the catalogue like on kindle unlimited for audio books please?

BookBeat have subscriptions for 100 hours a month for £15, 50 hours for £10 (which is about four books and a bit, at least based on the books I read) and 20 hours for £6. They have books from Simon and Schuster and HarperCollins (and it’s imprints like Avon) so not as big as audible - but this doesn’t stop me having a list of 684 books I’m interested in listening to 😳
