Hi there – does anybody use NetGalley? I wonder if you could help with a couple of questions.

I have been approved for a book where the publishing date has already passed.

Does that mean that there is no deadline for reviewing the book?

In a sense there aren't strict deadlines on Netgalley anyway. Do make sure you've downloaded the book before it gets archived, and if you're just getting started and haven't built up a ridiculous backlog, it's probably a good idea to read and review sooner rather than later, as you're more likely to build up a good record and get approved for other books. I have a shocking record and am not surprised when I get turned down, just pleased I still get as many books as I do that way. I have passed on recommendations for books that I haven't formally reviewed.
