I I loved Jean Auel's Earth Children & Diana Gabledon's Outlander Series, what else would I love?

Or failing that a good Police Procedual Series (not Tartan Noir, read nearly everything in that genre).

TIA

Try Barbara erskine I’ve just finished dream weavers which was good, most of her books are good to be honest, I’ve got them all on my kindle and most of them on audio too 😂, but then I have outlander on both too ☺️. The only one I didn’t like was the audio of Lady Hay I couldn’t get on with the reader. Alison wier has some good books if you like historical novels, A dangerous inheritance is good. Phillipa Gregory - historical not time split/travel but good. I read a lot ☺️

Simon Serrailler series by Susan Hill
Dr Ruth something by Elly Griffiths
Fethering series by Simon Brett is lovely, cosy crime but beautifully written

Mine are on both audible and kindle :)

I tried Lady Hay and couldn't get on with the narrator either. Maybe I will try the others.

Davina Porter does rather spoil it fir other narrators. She is so good.

Dorothy Dunnett series about Claas from Bruges.

8 books all quite chunky and wanders all over the Renaissance world. Extremely clever as well

Niccolo Rising is the first one
