Any recommendations, just fictional novels with a good read:

  • bonus points if recovery is achieved by the character
  • bonus point for personality disorder/ptsd themes

Strange Sally Diamond by Liz Nugent , definitely personality disorder/ptsd themes. You would need to make your own mind up about the recovery but that is an interesting part to the book. It has hard themes, I couldn't put it down and read it in two sittings (in one day).

It’s not fiction but Three Sisters by Heather Morris is a book about three sisters who survived Auschwitz and the author explores how the trauma affected them in different ways afterwards.

It’s a very marmite book but A Little Life is full of trauma themes! It’s a heavy read though
