Has anybody read this . It gets a glowing write up on Amazon and has 10k+ reviews. Is it any good.. So many of these books turn out to be a disappointment. Haven't heard of it before or the author.

It is sat on my shelf right now looking at me.
I keep meaning to read it but I've seen a lot of mixed reviews and so I keep choosing something else.

I have. I quite liked it - the overarching story had real heart to it, and the interweaving of the book list into the story was cleverly handled. It felt authentic and not twee, which books like this can be. I wouldn't re-read but I would pass it on to someone looking for a book to take on holiday.

I've read it. It was ok, no more than that. Easy reading.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think I will get it. Sounds a little bit different. Need a change from mystery type books.

I think it was on Kindle Unlimited a while ago so I read it. It's a feel good easy read, I enjoyed it. Like a pp said, I probably wouldn't read it again but it was good. I also added all the books mentioned in the book to my reading list.

If you have Amazon Prime then it’s free on kindle.

I’m currently reading it and enjoying it. It’s a setting I broadly recognise and scenarios and emotions that I identify with.
