Hi
What do people recommend for reading e-books? I think I should get something to encourage me to read as much as I used to. Inexpensive please.
Thanks

You can just get the kindle app on your phone/tablet, if you don’t mind reading on there for long periods. Personally I find that too hard on my eyes so I have a Kindle Paperwhite which I love. Don’t think that counts as inexpensive though.

Thanks for the recommendation. I do find it hard on my eyes reading on my phone so I will look into the paperwhite.

I find the Paperwhite and the Oasis easier to read from than the kindle app on the iPad.

John Lewis tend to have display models so if you have one nearby you could try before you buy.

The amount of adaptations you can make to the font, size, boldness, brightness, layout etc, should mean there's a setting that would work well for you.

You can probably get older kindles very cheaply on ebay to try one out.

Any sort of Paperwhite with the light is amazing if you like to read in bed.

Even the basic Kindle has a light now. I had one for several years but have just bought a Paperwhite. The only real difference seems to be size - the Psperwhite has a larger page.
