Can anyone remember this book?

I've gone down a bit of a rabbit hole tonight remembering books I read as a teen. I can't remember the title or author of this book but it's from the Judy Blume, Norma Klien sort of era. It was about a teen girl who argues with her mum, goes out I think to a train station (I think it's set in New York) she hits her head and when she comes too she has traveled back in time where she meets her mother as a teenager. Her mother is called Cici, they hang out and become friends which helps her bond with her mother. When she gets back to her own time she and her mum resolve an issue without the fallout.

The front cover had the girl and her mum (as a teen) stood next to each other outside a building (maybe the train station) on her side it's modern and on her mothers side it looks old fashioned.

Any one read this?

@Autienotnautie I think it was published with 2 different titles.
There is also 2 other books with the same character (no time travel with those though !)

This is the trilogy - complete with the alternative title "My Mother Never Was a Kid"
(I don't like these covers though 😂)

@Needmorelego no I never read the other two. The covers are very typical of those style of books but I definitely remember it as hanging out with Cici. I didn't realise she's the sweet valley high author too. I use to read those as well. I always wanted to be Elizabeth 😂

The model on those covers is the actress Amanda Seyfried in one of her very early jobs!
