What book is this

Had a sudden memory about a book I read. Can’t remember really what it’s about or how it ends. I was reading someone I used to know by Paige toon and thought I had read it before but realised it just reminded me of this other book.

the story is about a girl she meets a boy in her high school who she discovers is homeless and is staying in an abandoned house behind hers. Eventually they talk and fall in love and he stays with her in her bedroom secretly until her dad finds him and they have a fight.

not sure what happens next. Sounds rubbish but I remember enjoying it.

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Ohhh is it. I thought it ends with us was about a guy and a girl who meet on a rooftop after a night out. The guy is angry and they end up falling in love. And move into an apartment block in the same block as his sister. She’s a florist and opens a shop with his sister…. They have a baby but decided to go separate ways due to his temper.

is that the same book?

Yes it’s the same book. The homeless joy in absconded house is her teenage boyfriend - Altas. There’s flashbacks to it through the book. The other guy she met on a rooftop is the guy she married in the book (can’t remember his name off the top of my head). There’s now a sequel - It Starts With Us

I enjoyed the sequel. I’ve read a lot of Colleen Hoover’s books and have enjoyed alot of them. I also really enjoyed Confess, Reminders of Him and November 9.
