If I loved all Graham Nortons novels, what else would I like? I've a holiday coming up & I'd love to load up my kindle with a few new books. I also loved American dirt, the hearts invisible furies the girl with the louding voice. Any suggestions for me?

Small Pleasures by Clare Chambers; Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell (anything by her tbh!); the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

I read small pleasures, really liked it. I've started Hamnet about 3 times & just cant get into it. I'll check out your last recommendation thanks

I have not read the books you mentioned in your post, but have read small pleasures. I also enjoy Tracy Chevalier novels and recently read how to stop time by Matt Haig, which was a fantastic but easy escapist read. Also really liked the vanishing half and am re-reading Shuggie Bain; the prose is so evocative.
