I'm trying to recall the name and/or author of a lighthearted novel. It's about a girl who I think was a journalist or court reporter. An ex boyfriend of hers turns up as a new employee at her place of work and the main story is a will they/won't they get together plot. There's a bit of a subplot where she helps a down on his luck MP or counsellor but he loses the election by one vote because she forgets to vote for him herself. It's really similar to "You Had me at Hello" by Mhairi McFarlane bug it's not that one and that's why it's bugging me so much. TIA if anyone recognises from this. I think it would have been published between 2010 and 2018 but could have been earlier.
