I've just finished this one. Has anyone read it? What did you think?

There's a sequel coming out in August.

I have just finished my third Lisa Jewell book on Audible. The Family Upstairs, The Family Remains and The Night She Disappeared. All brilliant and gripping. Work very well for Aufible.

Just finished listening to this on audible. Have listened to a few of hers. My favourite is The Girls. I found The Family Upstairs entertaining but a bit over the top. What I liked about The Girls was I felt it was something you could imagine stumbling across in real life. Quite relatable. More original. I felt that The Family Upstairs upped the ante on sensation, maybe in response to Gone Girl, Girl on a Train type contemporary psychological noir success.

Off on holiday soon. I’ve got the girls on my kindle.
I’m in the middle of ‘for your own good’ by Samantha Downing. It’s a page Turner!
Anyone read any more from this author!

Late to the party but I just finished The a family upstairs, it's my first Lisa Jewel book and I loved it. Can't wait to read The Family remains now.

I find her books a bit hit and miss. I loved Ralph's Party many moons ago but hated the sequel After the Party. One hit Wonder is dire but I enjoyed The House we Grew up in and the Family Upstairs.
I have the Family Remains, The Girls, I Found You and The Night she Disappeared on my TBR pile.

Same. It was almost like After The Party was written by someone else. I've read Ralph's Party I don't know how many times and still love it. Thank you for reminding me of it as it's been a few years since I last read it.

Hmm I'm 24% through the Family Upstairs on my kindle and I'm finding it really boring. Nowts happening!

Oh, I'm surprised, I loved it straight away, fairly predictable but still enjoyed it. I've got The family remains ready to start at the weekend.

I've started this and so far I'm not gripped by it.
