I've just finished this, wondered If anyone else wanted to discuss it.
I find fiction about real people a bit strange to get my head around anyway, but this was a step on from The Windsor Knot and others, I felt. I couldn't help but wonder what Hillary might think about the book, particularly all the sex scenes with Bill. I wondered if the author would mention that Hillary Clinton had been involved or given her blessing in anyway and I thought perhaps it was notable that she hadn't.

Sorry I haven't read it .

I have read American Wife by her, and that was about Laura Bush, (although the author changed her name she's always said it was based on her) . It was a very positive account of her, really and a v interesting book. well worth a read.

I've read it, the sex scenes made me feel uncomfortable in a way that they wouldn't if it had been purely fictional Blush

I really liked the bit where she watched the 'apology' interview on TV and said how it should have gone (ie what happened in real life)

I loved it. Agree the sex scenes were a bit cringy but it got much better as it went on. I loved the bit where Hillary was flayed for having the female staffer shabe her legs. Overall I thought it was very clever.
