Couldn’t think of a better title.

last month I was in the Piccadilly Waterstones and on the fiction floor they had some tables from around the world set up. So each table had books from a continent on. I regret not taking pictures at the time.

Does anyone know what I mean? Any recommendations for books from around the world? I think they were mostly translated into English rather than written in English.

There are some great suggestions of books from Commonwealth countries, listed by decade and with discussion points suggested, including some I have really enjoyed:

and loads more. Obviously this doesn't cover the whole world but it's a starting point and worth a look.
