I’ve just finished reading this book written by Ashley Audrain.It was one of those books I couldn’t put down and keep thinking about.
I’ve read it’s been picked to be made into a film or drama.

That's good to know. I bought a copy recently but haven't started reading it yet.

I was the same when I read it, really stayed with me.

I found it very visual, so excited to hear it could be adapted.

I just finished it. Loved the ending!

It’s interesting the relationships between the four different females and how it affected them down the generations from Etta to Violet.

Heatwave

The Push reminded me about Heatwave by Kate Riordan., another superb book. There’s a lot about mother/daughter relationships in it.

I read this book recently but found it a bit depressing - was on holiday so maybe it wasn't the right kind of "by the pool" reading.

I liked it - I read ‘Greenwich Park’ during the same holiday and preferred it to ‘the push’ - but I’d recommend them both
