amazon is crap, i have known this for some time now. but now they have stopped writing reviews of the books they are supposedl6y trying to sell???? wtf is that about then?

maybe this should be in the aibu section.
why are they not including reviews of books? i dont mean customer reviews, i mean amazon reviews. are we supposed to look at the front cover and choose the book on the basis of the pretty picture?
i would have thought they wouldnt be ablet o sell the the books without at least the blurb on the back cover.

I don't know - their reviews usually were only the back cover blurb so seems weird not to put it in. And agree its unreasonable - are you meant to just buy a book on basis its cover looks pretty??

The reviews are provided either by readers or by the publisher.

Amazon reviews are usually done by a direct electronic feed from the publisher - if the publisher is a small one and doesn't provide Amazon with electronic content then nothing will appear.
