I’m looking for a funny book recommendation for my book club.
The world seems so sad at the moment, a funny book would be great.
Thank you

I loved the Adrian Mole books, Sue Townsend was so funny.
Years ago I remember reading Wilt by Tom Sharpe and McCarthy's Bar by Peter McCarthy and laughing out loud, need to read them again!

Bill Bryson's travel books. Especially Notes From A Small Island, Neither Here Nor There and Down Under.

Also Notes From A Big Country (his regular newspaper column collated into a book).

All made me cry laughing.
