Good Afternoon,

I am hoping one of you well-read lot might have the thing I am looking for. Flowers

I need a long short story, not too controversial, that can be split into six chunks /preferably even cliff hangers, to be read over the course of a day in 5 minute slots.

So a 30 minute read. Although I can work round a 20 minute one probably.

Sadly, cannot be Lamb To The Slaughter (Dahl) as they already know it.

I thought about The Lottery Shirley Jackson.

Edgar Allen Poe probably will not hold their attention.

Clive Barker, even edited, would be too gory.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance Wine

I am I am I am by Maggie O'Farrell is a collection of short stories. I absolutely loved it. Not sure how long it would take to read each one though.

Roar by Celia Ahern is a superb collection of short stories. They are all about different issues women have to deal with with the main character being referred to as “woman” Cannot recommend them highly enough

I loved I am, I am, I am.
Stories are too short though. It needs to be a story that will take 20-30 minutes in the telling. Thank you though to you both x
