Hi,....

I'm packing my labour/hospital bag at the moment and would like to throw in a book just in case I get a few moments to myself :-)

Would love to receive some recommendations....the last book I read was "A Thousand Splendid Sons"...

thanks

Kite Runner is by the same author - have you read that? It is meant to be good, but I haven't read it yet.

Do you want some light and amusing "chick lit" or something a bit more "lit" than "chick"?

Good luck on the birth - hope it all goes smoothly

you got an ipod - what about an audiobook? might be a bit distracting or relaxing when you're going through the night early on etc.

good luck

Q & A by vikas swarup (sp) - serious subject, but lots of humour and almost like short stories so you can put it down/ pick back up when ever. i read tons bf my ds1 - sadly bf my twins my hands were full and tv was the only option!

Pathetic i know but mills and boon were great when i had my dds cos it didn't matter if i couldn't remember what had happened on the last page, they're all the same!
