Recently published SFF for 19y/o

Looking for something for a Christmas present for dd. She's read Becky Chambers / Ann Leckie / Adrian Tchaikovsky / Tamsyn Muir / Cixin Liu / Martha Wells (pretty diverse but hopefully helpful in terms of sorts of things she likes!).

I'm definitely looking for something recently published, as there's a pretty good chance she'll have read older books. (I am actually thinking to get her the Robin Hobb Rain Wild books which I think she hasn't read but will get 2nd hand copies as an extra.)

I've had good suggestions on here in previous years (including Tamsyn Muir who was a big hit :) ) so hoping for some more great ideas. Definitely SFF, she does read lots of other things but much harder to predict her tastes.

Has she read Naomi Novik? The second of her Scholomance series has not long come out, more fantasy than SFF.

Laura Lam/Elizabeth May - Seven Devils. I also like Laura Lam's Goldilocks, although both books were last year I think so she might have read them!

Have a look at Tor.com - they do monthly lists of what's coming out which is both very helpful and very bad for my bank balance!

Yes to Naomi Novik (love the Scholomance, though probably more to my taste than dd's)

I don't know Laura Lam, will have a look at her - and good thinking re. the Tor lists, I actually get them in my email but never have time to read them! (Probably good for my bank balance!)
